I like Peter Kay, but I think he is ripping off the fans with the latest tour, although you can not call it a tour if he is only going to one location. £35 is way over the top. You pay less to see bands who have much higher overheads as they have to move from one location to another, and employ a large team.
Comics don't really suit an arena environment, I know it boost their bank balance, but it is better to see them in the normal theatres. |

| I agree with Needdm. Peter Kay seems to have forgotten where he came from. Most of his jokes and his whole persona are derived from working class life. He is basically sticking 2 fingers up to his demographic audience, and his background, by charging a ridicules £35 per ticket. If he sells out all 10 nights he will net over £1,000,000! Yes that's a "MILLION POUNDS". How dare he milk his fans for all they’re worth. I for one will not line his pockets with my hard earned cash. I won't even buy the DVD now! I'll watch when it comes on TV. |

After selling out an record breaking run of twenty nights at the Manchester evening news arena and due to the phenomenal public demand
Peter Kay's - 'Tour That Doesn't Tour Tour' is now going on tour and will play at the O2 Arena London ... I have compared the price of Peter Kay Tickets on Ticketmaster, Viagogo and GigSport and find out that GigSport is offering a very low price for Peter Kay. _________________ http://www.gigsport.com |
